Local 3, White Plains Holiday Party

On December 10, 2007 members of Local 3, White Plains held their first holiday party at Rory Dolan’s Restaurant in Yonkers, NY.
There was a great turnout for this first time event and in addition to many active members, a number of retirees from the area attended, including former Local 3 President Dennis McSpedon. Also in attendance were Business Representatives Mike Whalen, Paul Ryan, Thomas Capurso, Mike O’Neill and Executive Board member Rich McSpedon.
The proceeds of the event went to the Child Development Center of The Easter Seals Foundation in Valhalla, NY. Kara Conway, the Director of the Center and granddaughter of former Local 3 President and former NYS AFL-CIO President, Edward Cleary, will use the funds to purchase books, art supplies and toys for the children.
The holiday party was truly a wonderful time for all and we hope it becomes an annual event!
